UTD Member Activists Pursue School Board Members
UTD activists work over the summer to attempt to meet with School Board Members throughout the Miami-Dade community. Their message, "Honor Our Contract."

1. Went to Evelyn Greer's office.  What a surprise, she was busy.
2.  Have a seat, let me check her schedule.
3.  Ms. Greer said that we can make an appointment.  We're still waiting for a phone call.
4. We left letters just in case we don't get a call.
5. We couldn't see Gus Barrera so we decided to take a picture by his picture on the wall.
6. It was a good day, UTD members working together to deliver one message.

Special Note:
Friday, July 11, 2008 several UTD members went to visit Dr. Holloway at the AT & T office located in Downtown. Unfortunately, he was not in, but we had the opportunity to speak to a secretary and she mentioned that he comes in and out on a daily basis. We left him a letter that a member wrote and also left him a contact number. The members that attended were Mr. Ings and Mr. Duque
